A play date

We have a new neighbor, her name is Dolly. Mom and Dolly’s mom thought it would be a great idea for us to have a play date today. It didn’t go as Mom expected. I wasn’t really into playing with her and she wasn’t into me either. We were actually a little afraid of each other at first. Once Mom and Dolly’s mom left the play area we did look at each other from a distance but we never did play together. Mom said we would try it again soon and maybe we would be willing to play then.
