I decided to create this site to show my Yorkies. I currently have one, Em, and she is a character. She always has something going on, that is why she has her own Facebook page and now a blog page on my site. Admittedly her blog page is post from her Facebook page. I have been told that it is entertaining. To me it is just a hobby. Below are pictures of my Yorkies. Vixen and Crick has both passed over the Rainbow Bridge and I can tell you that is one of the hardest things to do when you love your fur-babies like children.
Me holding Vixen a.k.a. Pip. She was afraid of everything.
Cricket as a puppy. She was a little terror.
Em just 14 weeks old. She is a ball of energy.
Yorkies are a unique breed of dog. They are always playful for their entire life, they have lots of energy, and are very stubborn. Needless to say, they are not for everybody. If you are lucky enough to have a Yorkie you will understand how they can melt your heart in one second. If you have never had one I highly recommend you meet one before jumping into the biggest commitment of your life. It will also be the biggest joy of your life.
Vixen
I am sad to say that Vixen passed away on January 26, 2017. We knew she was not feeling her best and she got a virus that she just could not overcome. It was the worst night of my life having to help her pass. She is missed so much.
Vixen is 15 years old. She is quite old for a little one. She is about 5 pounds and has been the love of my life. I think she is the smartest dog I have ever known. She understands everything I say to her. She has a terrible stubborn streak and if she is unhappy with something she will let you know.
Cricket
Crick is no longer with us. She was such a wonderful little girl. She had special needs from the very first day and we spent a lot of time and energy keeping her healthy and happy. She was on medication all her life. She lived a full 14 years and was one of the greatest joys of our lives. She will forever be remembered.
