It has been a very busy week here. Surprise doctor visits for me and Mom. Mom has a sinus and tooth infection and I have a bladder infection. We are both on antibiotics and are feeling better. Mom got a package yesterday that was so interesting. She got yoga stuff. She has been doing yoga for awhile and decided to get stuff to do it at home too. She let me help unpack it (well I just took over and she didn’t stop me). She even tried it out with her new yoga app. That was so much fun jumping on Mom while she was trying to do yoga poses. I am happy that Mom and Dad are back home. I have found it necessary to let them know my displeasure at both of them leaving me. I made a new friend yesterday and today. Mom AND Dad went out of town for work and had Jess stay with me. I was a little concerned as I knew her from somewhere but couldn’t quite remember where, but I finally did. Jess works at West Friendship Animal Hospital. I am sure she must have given me a shot or something I didn’t like. As it turns out she is really nice when she isn’t in that place. Mom said I am a traitor for warming up to her so quickly. It’s very warm here today and my great Dad got me a cup of water to keep me hydrated. I drank almost all of it but couldn’t get to the bottom. I had to dump it to get the rest out. As promised by Mom and approved by the betrayer, Dad, I got a bath this morning.  Mom used Yorkie Splash and Shine on me so that I would smell good (only in her world). She says it leaves my hair tangle free.   Don't tell Mom and Dad, but I have to admit that I look a lot better with my top knot in and the pretty blue bow with a heart on that Mom put in my hair.  I hope all this grooming is done forever now.   Em #em#emyorkie #yorkies#yorkshireterrier#thebellyoftheem

I have been betrayed! Mom decided it was time for a haircut and Dad, of all people, helped. I really though he had my back, well he did in a way a very bad way. He held me while Mom trimmed out my ears, shaved my belly and trimmed various other places. She used that little pink clipper on my ears and belly. I really don’t like clippers and she knows it. I guess it goes to prove you can’t trust anyone, especially Mom when she has a big bag of treats with her. I got them back, I am not letting her put my hair up.
