​Oh thank goodness Mom is back. This baby sitting Dad is hard. He still hasn't learned everything he needs to know to be on his own. Of course, there is Tori to contend with too. ​Mom had to go out of town for work. She put me in charge of baby sitting Dad. Tori thinks she is the boss though she took Mom's seat outside. Wait until Mom finds out. ​I am the best helper Mom could ask for. I help Mom with the dishes. I bet if she would let me I could clean all these dishes in no time. It would save on electricity too. Maybe Dad would stop getting those letter from the electric company that says we use more electricity than all out neighbors.

​What is this all about you might ask? Mom and Dad asked. Tori was sitting on my chewy and wouldn't let me have it. Oh I know, some of you are thinking that it was not on purpose but it was. I yelled at her for a long time and asked her nicely before that to give it to me. Dad had to intervene. I think he got tired of listening to me yell about it. He didn't get mad at me though. ​Mom decided to do some gardening today. She said we were going to weed and pick carrots 🥕 for dinner tonight. Me being the helper that I am, I decided I should help her out. My mom works hard and can always use the extra help. It was really fun but hard work digging those weeds out. Mom said something about having a little pain but she looked fine to me. Em. ​It was an exciting week so much happened that I thought I would recap my first vacation. Of course, we had to get there and that meant a car 🚗 ride. I don't like the car so this was terrible. When we got there things were different than at home. There was a deck that I could see far away, I really liked that. I could bark at everyone and could see everything. I went fishing 🎣 that was fun as long as Dad caught something. He was terrific at letting me see the fish 🐟 and make friends with them. We had a bird 🐦 visit us. I got watermelon 🍉 and other treats. Even with the waves 🌊, which I didn't like, it was a great time. The best part was spending the whole time with both Mom and Dad ALL day. I was exhausted when we finally got home. ​It has been an exciting day. Fishing and birding all in one day. Dad caught me some fish again today. I had to beg Mom to let me go and fish with Dad. She said she didn't know he was fishing this morning. Then a bird tried to come in the house to play with me. It hit the window and sat for awhile before it flew away. Mom wouldn't let me go out and "take care" if it though. I enjoy all the excitement today. Oh, and no one (fish or bird) got hurt today. Dad threw the fish back in the water and the bird recovered. ​I am really liking this vacation thing. Mom and Dad took me fishing on the dock. It was the most fun so far. Dad caught a bunch of fish 🐠🐟 🐡.
