We have a new neighbor, her name is Dolly. Mom and Dolly’s mom thought it would be a great idea for us to have a play date today. It didn’t go as Mom expected. I wasn’t really into playing with her and she wasn’t into me either. We were actually a little afraid of each other at first. Once Mom and Dolly’s mom left the play area we did look at each other from a distance but we never did play together. Mom said we would try it again soon and maybe we would be willing to play then. Mom had to go away this weekend and she put me in charge of Dad. That is no easy feat. I was able to take care of Dad and everything here at home for Mom.
